Overall management of private and/or institutional assets
Taken as a whole, wealth can be made up of family assets (inheritances or savings), real estate, life insurance policies, art, vintage vehicles, etc.
All these assets must be optimally organised and analysed to be consistent with the investment strategy.
After more than three decades of existence, SFB is able to provide a solution to structure these assets, including when passing on the family patrimony to the next generation.
SFB relies on a network of well-known banks, privileged relations with asset management firms, investment funds, specialized lawyers, auditors and insurers, in order to set up the appropriate tools that respond in an optimal way to the wishes of the clients whether private or institutional.
Additionally, SFB has the latest technologies to enable it to choose and manage investments optimally.
Estate structuring and financial planning
Recent regulatory and tax developments involve a considerable and complex number of parameters that may affect a client’s personal assets and/or real estate.
SFB can help its clients to measure their impact and facilitate the proper organisation of their overall wealth.
SFB global and long-term expertise enables it to develop and retain a Swiss and international clientele over various generations.
The Multi-Family Office (MFO)
The concept of a family office emerged in the United States in the second half of the 19th century; families such as the Rockefellers, Whittier and Pitcairn established ad hoc structures on their behalf.
There are two types of family offices:
Regardless of the type of family office chosen, simple or multi-family family office, they are designed for families wishing to preserve the value of their wealth in the long-term, sometimes complex by its nature: family businesses, land holdings, property abroad.
These structures allow them to grow their heritage in line with their projects and to organize the transmission to the next generations.
Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
SFB’s mission is to support SMEs in the three “key” phases of :
Creation
In this first stage, it is important to analyse the available means and to determine the framework conditions of your future business.
Growth
Ambitious projects require detailed planning for the development of your business.
The Estate
The succession process involves clear, strategic, legal, financial and fiscal advice.
Access to our in-house projects
Consequently to the volatility of the financial and stock markets and the multiple crises experienced during the recent decades, several of our clients chose to invest directly in family businesses, start-ups, real estate etc.
We offer our clients the opportunity to present their own investment projects and then offer them to other clients wishing to participate in such projects, hence allocating part of their assets outside traditional asset management.
